Your trip to First begins in Grindelwald, from where a 6-seater gondola will carry you to the top in 25 minutes. Float towards the ridge secure in your gondola. During the ride you’re guaranteed a breathtaking view of the mountain landscape, so sit back and enjoy the dreamlike view. When you arrive at 2168 m above sea level, there are plenty of ways to make the most of your day.
Here you will find adventure galore: Take the cable car up to Mount First to experience the unique summit attraction “First Cliff Walk by Tissot”. The trail with a 40-meter one-rope suspension bridge promises an extraordinary adrenaline kick. Strengthen yourself on the spectacular sun terrace of the restaurant “Berggasthaus First”. Nearby, you’ll find one of Switzerland’s most thrilling activities: the First Flyer, a gigantic zip line that gives you the feeling of flying over 800 meters down the hill with a maximum speed of 84 kilometers per hour.
Then, continue by mountain cart on an exceptional ride to Bort, from where you complete your adventure by Trottibike scooter. Curve down to Grindelwald through lovely alpine scenery passing by grazing cows and typical Swiss chalets. All you need for your booking is internet access. Put your mountain railway ticket, your skipass or a package in the shopping cart. You then pay conveniently & securely with a credit card and print* your travel documents at home. Travel directly to your destination – we take care of all the rest. You can book using a guest account as well as with a user account.
*The mountain railway ticket can be presented as a mobile ticket on your smartphone without a printout.
Seat reservation is required for groups from 10 persons. This can be confirmed at the earliest 3 months in advance. Group reservations can be made by telephone at +41 33 828 72 53 or via e-mail to reservation(at)jungfrau.ch.
Reservation is not obligatory for individual travellers, but is recommended and can be made via our online shop atjungfrau.ch/shop/en/bergbahn/reservation.
Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe is one of the most popular travel destinations in Europe. As individual travellers and small groups, you can book your seats for the journey from Kleine Scheidegg to Jungfraujoch –Top of Europe and back.
If you do not make a reservation, we cannot guarantee you a seat at the desired departure time. Longer waiting times must be expected.
For the journey by wheelchair to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe, it is strongly recommended to use the tricable gondola Eiger Express from Grindelwald Terminal (via Eigergletscher station). If travelling via Kleine Scheidegg, transport cannot be guaranteed in all cases. Pre-booking is essential for groups of 3 or more people in wheelchairs or for the journey via Kleine Scheidegg. A seat reservation is not necessary. Please inform the ticket office clerk at the departure station about the journey so that any assistance can be provided. The Jungfraujoch is wheelchair accessible. The entrance to the Ice Palace is equipped with a wheelchair stair lift.
Day tickets (day ticket with Half Fare, day ticket without Half Fare, municipality day ticket, Post day ticket, Duo day ticket, etc.) are valid for free travel from Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald, Wengen and Mürren.

The family reductions such as the Junior Card, Children’s Travelpass or Swiss Family Card are not valid in combination with the Top of Europe Pass, the Jungfrau Travel Pass or the Jungfrau Corona Pass. Children aged 6-15.99 years require the Top of Europe Pass, Jungfrau Travel Pass or Jungfrau Corona Season Pass at a price of CHF 30.00 net per child.

With the Wengernalp Railway via Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen:
The journey from Grindelwald takes 1 hour 26 minutes there and 1 hour 26 minutes back. We recommend at least 5–6 hours to allow a reasonable amount of time on the Jungfraujoch.
From Grindelwald Terminal with the Eiger Express:
The journey from Grindelwald Terminal takes 45 minutes there and 45 minutes back.
We recommend at least 3.5–4.5 hours to allow a reasonable amount of time on the Jungfraujoch.
