From Interlaken you can walk on winding, picturesque roads almost 1,000 m high into the Alps. On a gravel road in the area, we go to a typical Swiss mountain cheese dairy.
Meet the local mountain farmers who will demonstrate the traditional process of making cheese and how the milk is heated to a certain temperature over an open fire in a large copper pan. Then, see how they place it in forms where it slowly dries in the air to be sold at the end of the summer.
Please note that a minimum of 3 participants is required for the tour; if the minimum number of participants is not reached, we will contact you with a replacement date.
