We drive you and your pilot to our most frequently used take off site at Beatenberg, where spectacular views of the three famous mountains peaks, the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau await you. Feel the connection between earth and sky as we glide away from land and over the shimmering crystal clear waters of the Lakes of Thun and Brienz. After your flight, we land back in the centre of Interlaken.

Meeting Point

You can choose your preferred meeting point while booking your paragliding trip, with various options available to cater to your convenience. If your hotel is not listed, simply select our ticket shop at Höheweg 95, 3800 Interlaken, as your meeting point.

To Ensure Safe Paragliding
  • Before the Flight:
  • Arrive at least 20 minutes early for easy check-in.
  • Respect any weight restrictions set by the operator.
  • Ask questions if you have any concerns or doubts.
  • Dress in comfortable clothing and suitable footwear.
  • Secure your belongings in a good bag.
  • Follow the operator's guidelines regarding mobile phone usage.
  • During the Flight:
  • Pay close attention to the instructions from your guide.
  • Follow your guide's guidance during take-off and landing.
  • Stay hydrated by drinking water before the flight.

FAQ

WHEN WILL I BE PICKED UP AT THE MEETING POINT?

​Please be ready at the meeting point 20 minutes before the booked trip time (see ticket). Please understand that short delays can occur as our drivers have to collect people from different pickup locations.

CAN YOU DROP ME BACK TO THE PICKUP LOCATION?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer a drop off service to the meeting points. After landing the next guests are already waiting for the guides. However, as we land in the centre of Interlaken, all hotels and train stations are in walking distance.

CAN I BRING MY LUGGAGE?

You can bring backpacks and handbags with you on the bus, but please note that large suitcases cannot be accommodated due to limited space. For larger luggage items, we recommend utilizing the lockers at train stations or your hotel’s luggage room for storage.

CAN I BRING MY OWN CAMERA?

As long as it’s a small digital pocket camera with an objective that can’t be removed it’s allowed. This camera also needs to have a wrist band attached. Selfie sticks and mobile phones you can bring to the takeoff but are not allowed during the flight.

Every pilot provides his own picture and video service with a Special Paragliding Full HD Camera System to memorise your trip. Right after the flight your pilot will show you the picture and vdeo files on a tablet computer. If you want to buy these files you either get the Original SD-Card or a copy to your mobile phone. This extra service costs CHF 40.00 and has to be paid to your pilot.

 

 

WHAT DO I HAVE TO BRING?

CAN I WEAR GLASSES DURING THE FLIGHT?

Yes. We even recommed to wear sunglasses during the flight because of the wind and the sun. But no worries … we never lost sunglasses on one of our flights.

CAN I PAY BY CREDIT CARD?

Yes you can pay by credit card or cash. If you want to pay in cash the following foreign banknotes (no coins) are accepted: Euro, British pounds and US Dollars

 

 

CAN I PARK MY CAR AT THE MEETING POINT?

There are several fee based parking lots and covered parkings near the meeting point and landing area.

 

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS BAD AND THE FLIGHT CANNOT TAKE PLACE?

If the flight cannot take place due to bad weather conditions, we will try to find an other date and time together with you or we will cancel the flight and refund you the full amount.

 

 

CAN I BOOK A LADY PILOT?

Yes, this is possible on certain days. The lady pilot can’t be booked online. In this case please send your inquiry to info@arabserviceinterlaken.ch or just call us. Our phone no. is +41 76 674 32 57

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE FOR PARAGLIDING?

Children must be at least 5 years old and need to have a declaration of consent from their parents.
​The minimum weight is 25 kg.

 

 

IS THERE A WEIGHT LIMIT FOR PARAGLIDING?

Yes, there’s a general weight limit of 90 kg.

In the evenings and early mornings the weight limit is 80kg because the upwinds are weaker than and starting is more difficult for the pilot.
